Defamation Law

  • Mantynband v. Breslow, Case No. 97 L 2086 (Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois). We represented an attorney in a libel action against his former client's litigation opponent.

  • Morrone v. Rawitz and Lake, Case No. 04 L 7564 (Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois). We represent an individual allegedly defamed by a former partner.

  • Jaffe v. Edelson, Case No. 04 L 001077 (Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois). We represented a court-appointed psychologist in defamation action.

  • Chicago City Day School v. Wade, 297 Ill.App.3d. 465, 697 N.E.2d. 389, 231 Ill.Dec. 835 (1st Dist. 1998). We represented a private school in a defamation action against talk show hosts.

  • Hanania v. Sun-Times, Case No. 91 L 18684 (Circuit Court of Cook County, Illinois). We represented a reporter in a defamation case against newspaper.
